Breezy's kept popping up on my Yelp-dar whenever I opened the app in Jax Beach. I gave in and bookmarked it and was determined to try it one day soon. I had to get out of the house (without the hubby) so I scrolled through my bookmarks to see where Felix the Fit was going to take me today. Beautiful Sunday Funday to give Breezy's a try. Even had pink balloons out to welcome me. Well, not really. The owner had just welcomed a granddaughter the day before. It became very obvious from the get go that this was a family joint and that all the goodies were made with love. When you're ordering your caffeinated beverage and decide to pop a squat you get to choose your own mug of your fancy. This morning I went with the spinach & tomato (add) bacon pita. It's stuffed with the softest scrambled eggs, cheese and a bit a mayo. I don't usually enjoy scrambled eggs, but these were delicious. I must find out what they do. While i've never really noticed a ton of people in this place, they definitely have a following of locals. There were many times the main room filled up with a line out the door waiting to get their morning grub. With free Wi-Fi and an amazing staff I could see myself here all the time now that I know what I've been missing.

Horrible experience here this morning. The girl working had zero personality or really wasn't feeling friendly. We ordered two coffees. All the coffee was out when we went to fill them up and so was the 1/2 and 1/2 and no one else was even there. We asked her to refill them and she poured some leftover coffee she had in the pot in it and put it back. I got some. It was super cold. We left and went down the street to bold bean and had a much more pleasurable experience.

A quaint, local, and great place for breakfast or lunch! The food quality is very good, reasonably priced, and you can enjoy it in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. My new go to for breakfast on the weekend!

Quick service. Okay latte (more of a cappuccino). Laid back and quiet in the middle of the day. Simple food. I had the Beach BLT (bacon, turkey, ham with hot sauce, ranch and fresh spinach) with cucumber salad side. Very small cucumber salad. Didn't try the baked goods, but they look pretty awesome. Quaint decor with lots of local flavor. Very family oriented (based on decor and clientele). Overall, good place to grab something quick if it's on your way somewhere.

Breezy is a cozy little beach styled coffee shop with wonderful service and great food and drinks. The interior style is very personal and it feels like the owner decorated it herself. The bike rack is especially awesome! Me and my Norwegian boyfriend used to come here regularly when we lived in the area, and we were always greeted with personal enthusiastic friendliness. If you come to Breezy you will feel welcome, and you will be taken care of. I'm not sure what the lower scoring reviews on here are on about to be honest. Sure it's not a Michelin star winning place, but it's still miles above any gas station, both in terms of coffee and everything else. I also much prefer Breezy's coffee drinks to Starbucks' (who's cappuccinos I find pretty bad), but this might be down to personal taste. Try the house blend and make up your own mind!

This is a wonderful easy going little coffeehouse well worth the visit. It offers very tasty variety of coffees with delicious home baked goodies. Starbucks, just does not compare. Well worth the visit to this relaxed environment.

Don't know what yelpers here drink for coffee but this stuff was just above swamp water. I got an espresso it had zero foam on top(crema) was mostly water and flavorless. The mocha was equally horrid we tossed them after 1 sip and thru $12 down the drain with it. I will say the pumpkin crumb cake was awesome ! Save your money gas station coffee is wayyyyy better and cheaper

Ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich, and my friend ordered the Greek Surfer. My friend Lauren's pita didn't have hummus or olives on it and fell apart as soon as she tried to eat it. I still waited, and waited, and waited for my sandwich to come out. The girl comes out and sits with her friend and begins to talk and I speak up saying I never got my sandwich. Shocked, she said "what, you didn't order one?". Even though this girl may be an hourly employee, bold bean down the street would be a better choice, purely for the better service. Pretty sure I'll never come back.

Hubby and I like to visit new restaurants and the positive comments on Yelp led us to try Breezy for breakfast. It was wonderful. Great vegan options for Hubby and delicious tropical iced tea for me. The owner was delightful and we can't wait to return for lunch.

Locally owned and operated. A mother/daughter run business with superb food and exceptional coffee. My usual is a pablo chicken pita and iced coffee. Nancy, the owner, is a fabulous baker. Definitely try the scones if she has them, or delicious gluten free marshmallow treat. Breezy also has a house blend that's delicious. They're not Starbucks, so don't expect a perfect frappacino. If you're happy with a good cup of coffee, great food, and a friendly atmosphere, this is your place.

Awesome coffee/lunch shop, privately owned with a cool, beach feel. Ideal for locals and tourists that want something different from the green mermaid. Fresh food, not too heavy. Great owner that's super attentive and dedicated to ensuring you have a great visit.

Great coffee, great spot for lunch or breakfast. Friendly staff and lots of reading material. Lot's of healthy options and equally as awesome but not as healthy selection of fresh-baked goods. They also make their own granola.

If you drive too fast, you'll miss Breezy Coffee Shop & Cafe. Located on the corner of 8th Ave S and 3rd St. (A1A to the uninitiated) is a pale yellow, beach house with a flashing "coffee" sign. Palm trees and Adirondack chairs populate the grassy front lawn, and the homey feel only increases as you step in through the wide open front door. Baby blue walls and white tiles give it that classic beachy feel and little wooden tables and comfy couches beg you to open a newspaper and stay the afternoon. (Which I did!) A small kitchenette serves as the counter, and a display case of sweet treats like coffee cake, toffee, and homemade rice krispie treats beckon patrons with a sugary come hither. Baked goods aside, I came for coffee and coffee I would get. I ordered a Hazelnut Latte for my much-needed afternoon fix and perused the chalkboard menu overhead for my lunch selection. Sweet Lauren behind the counter informed me that all the sandwiches here are served on pita, and the Greek Surfer was the most popular. Hmm.. lentils, tabouli, hummus, cucumber and black olives? I'll take it! But of course...while I waited, the sweets were whispering my name. Crumbly coffee cake, iced poppyseed muffins, and Oh! Henry bars simply would not be ignored. Oh, fine! I asked my girl behind the counter how much for the sweet stuff, and when she said "$2 each" I think I died and went to heaven. This place is the-shit-dot-com! You'd have to pay $6.50 for a piece of coffee cake that big at Starbuckles! I loaded up a to-go box with $10 worth of cookies, cakes, and crumbles to take home and feed to my overly skinny friends. (Muahaha) A few minutes later my pita came out STUFFED with fresh, colorful beans and veggies, coupled with a sizeable side of bowtie pasta salad and two handfuls of potato chips. I requested a side of hot sauce and was tickled pink when Lauren filled up a souffle cup of Sriracha without so much as inquiring what I'd prefer. Right on! All the food was fresh and tasty and HUGE. As a pasta salad lover who is often overwhelmed by overly done-up noodles, I much appreciated their simple garlicky affair and the sandwich was perfectly made as well. This is one of those businesses that Yelp was made for! Cute, intimate, well-priced and locally owned, I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic little spot to hang and have lunch or a coffee.

What an excellent quant cafe. Food is amazing but not as amazing as the owner/hostess, Nancy.

Great hot breakfast! Bacon egg and cheese on soft warm bagel with hot java! Def coming back! Pet friendly, kid friendly, surfboard rack outside :). Walk up from the beach and grab a snack.

Coffee was good, but the pita and eggs nope. Eggs were like made in microwave and rest all were heated in micro oven. It was a good place for a morning. I would avoid Pita and eggs.

Me and the family stopped in for a quick bite and a pick me up. Great coffee and awesome treats. You have to try the iced coffee and the Oh Henry peanut butter bars! Swing by and you won't regret it. ;)

I went in here today for lunch to try out the iced coffee and Greek surfer pita based on my fellow yelper's suggestions! The pita came loaded with lentils, hummus, spinach, some kind of white sauce (pretty sure it was tzatziki), sriracha (definitely a bonus), and a bunch more yumminess! You get 1 side, so I chose pasta salad. The salad turned out to be super mushy due to it being overcooked... So I asked the lady at the counter for a different side. She was nice about it and got me a potato salad instead. I also ordered a chai latte (it was raining and cold so I abandoned the iced coffee idea), which came out w/ the tea bag in it, so I had to wait about 10 minutes for it to start tasting like chai (so kind of a disappointment on the 1st sip). An Oreo muffin somehow got sneakily added into my order (okay fine I couldn't resist a $2 OREO muffin), which I took home with the rest of my chai & potato salad. I had to add a little spicy mustard to the potato salad to improve the flavor, but overall the whole meal was pretty good- not to forget the potato chips that came w/ the pita that they sprinkled cinnamon sugar over (creative and delicious)! The oreo muffin was good, just a little dry but i could definitely taste the yummy oreo flavor in there. To make a long review short, you get a lottt of food for your money, and the food is actually good especially for a coffee shop. They were good about fixing my order without an attitude and the fact that they had free wifi didn't hurt either. I would come back!
